Biography
Ryan has worked with GDI for more than eleven years, studying under GDI founder
and Vancouver Canucks goaltending consultant Ian Clark. As the manager
for the GDI Prairies region, Ryan organizes, supervises and coaches
GDI training camps in the area, helping up-and-coming goaltenders be
their absolute best. In addition to his role with GDI, Ryan is the goaltending
consultant for the Regina Pats (WHL) and the Steinbach Pistons (MJHL).
Ryan's playing career began at the Junior level with the Chilliwack Chiefs of the British Columbia Hockey League. After two seasons with the Chiefs, Ryan broke into the Western Hockey League with the Seattle Thunderbirds. Later, Ryan played briefly with the Lethbridge Hurricanes before joining the Saskatoon Blades. Playing for the Blades, Ryan guided the team to one of the biggest comeback seasons in WHL history. Ryan continued his professional career with stops in the AHL, ECHL and IHL. |

Biography
Daniel Ferguson is currently a goaltending coach and consultant throughout the GDI Prairie Regions where he works with more than 300 goaltenders and several Bantam, and Midget AAA teams.
Previously during his coaching career, Daniel had operated on and off ice instruction as the Head Goaltending Instructor out of the University of Manitoba Summer Camps, and has also continued to work for several AA and AAA associations, being involved with team’s pre-season goaltending and player development. Throughout the Spring, he instructs several AAA summer hockey organizations, including being the Head Coach of the Manitoba Colts. Added to his experience, includes working alongside several highly viewed Head Goaltending Instructors out of Manitoba.
Daniel has provided his instruction to several goaltenders from the ages of six to thirty-five, including several of them that have moved on to play at the levels of Junior A, Major Junior, and College. Along with providing goaltenders with his on and off ice instruction at Winnipeg’s GDI Satellite Center, located at the recently opened hockey complex-The Rink, he is currently completing his BPE and CPT.
